This past weekend I went to Sioux Falls to spend some time with my daughter and her family. It was great seeing all the Grand kids together. Aidan just loved it. He was kissing on Marley and telling Marley that he loves her. Drew and Marley are about the same size. Drew is a couple months older and is getting around a lot more then Marley dose but they still loved playing with one another. Enjoy the pictures of my Grand babies playing together. I am so excited that I am going to have another Grandson. I can not help myself, I had to do some shopping for baby Grayson. By the way, what a great name. Today I was blessed with the opportunity to spend the Day with Santa. It was so much fun watching the faces of the children who came to see Santa. On Saturday I spent the Day with Jessyca and Marley. We started the day off by going to the Farmers market. Then we went shopping for Aidan and Drew. When we got home mommy and Grandma gave Marley a bath. Marley enjoys her bath. I then cooked sausage and chicken pasta with peppers on the top of it. I took some over to Paul's house. We ate dinner and watched a movie. Escape from witch mountain. It was a cute movie. Enjoy the picture of Marley.

This week end I went shopping for my Grandsons.. I thought that I would send them a care package from Grandma. So my mission was to find Sideman and superman PJ's and I did. Then I also sent Aidan a sideman costume that he can play in. The superman PJ's come with a cape. I am sure that he will enjoy them. Of course mom will not like them, so I also sent Drew and Aidan PJ's that matched that said cutest kid ever. I also sent Aidan some peel and stick deals of cars and Trucks. I know how much Aida loves to watch Movies so I sent him the Movie Robin Hood. Drew added a couple of outfits to his collection of clothes. Enjoy your gifts. Grandma misses you and loves you..

My Dad passed away on Aug. 18, 2009. It broke my heart to see him in the hospital and to know that his time left on this earth was short. Every time I looked at him, Kissed his hand, or kissed him on the face I cried. This would be the last time that I would be able to do this. We take for granted that our loved ones will be in our lives for ever. They are not, so we need to Cherish every moment that we share with our loved ones because you never know when they will be gone. My Dad was the best and I will love him always and forever.

Today July 29, 30 years ago at 6:04 and 6:06 am I was blessed with two bundles of joy much to my surprise. I was not expecting twins. When they pushed on my stomach to deliver the placenta, after Amie was born they said Oh My God there is another baby in there. The second baby, Melissa, came feet first. They weighed in at 3lbs 4oz and 3lbs 7oz. They spent 5 1/2 weeks and 7 1/2 weeks in the hospital. They were so tiny and a true blessing in my life. Today is their 30th birthday. They have grown into two very amazing young ladies that I am so proud of them. My wish for them is that all their dreams come true. I wish I was spending their 30th birthday with them. Have a wonderful day and I am so blessed to have you in my life!! Happy Birthday! Enjoy your Birthday!!

Today is the first of many special Saturdays That I will have will get to spend with Marley. Not only did I spend it with Marley I got to spend it with Marleys Mommy and Marleys Auntie Meahgen. We spent the whole day together. First we went to farmers Market. It was a little to hot to take Marley out but she did really well. The rest of the day we spent inside the house because it was too hot.. We watched Meahgen play the Wii Fitness. We Laughed. Meahgen also rode my scooter for the first time. At first it was a little scary for her but, soon she was off. Enjoyed some of the photos that we took of our day creating memories.

Today Marley got to meet her Auntie Mae. Meahgen instantly feel in love with Marley... Meahgen spent the afternoon holding Marley and Marley loved it. They have seventeen days in which to bond with one another. Soon Marley will be meeting her other Aunts and Uncles along with two cousins. I cannot wait until everyone is together. Yeah.... I love my Family..

Today was Marleys first Day home... She is such a good baby..She only woke up once to be feed at 2:30 and then slept until 7:00 this morning. She is a true beauty and we welcome into our family with open arms. I just love being a mom and a grandma.

Today It was an amazing Day!!!! Jessyca, Dustin, Patti, Dorla and I went on a hike. We Hiked up to Sioux Charley Lake. It is one of the most accessible and heavily used access points to the Beartooths. Getting there was a real treat. The drive up the stillwater River is one of the most scenic in Montana. It was truly beautiful. The stillwater flows majestically through a landscape which is breathtaking. The hike into Sioux Charley Lake is one of the most popular day hikes in the beartooth. From the trail head, it's 3 miles to the lake, all on a uphill grade, in which my daughter who is 9 months pregnant, hike all the way up and back down without one complaint. I was truly impressed with her. Soon after leaving the trail head, the trail enters a narrow canyon where, Right next to the trail, the river tumbles over a series of cascades and rapids. We stopped many times to enjoy the beautiful surrounding and take several pictures. After passing through the narrow canyon the trail winds its way through a heavy forest all the way to Sioux Charley Lake. Once we arrived at Sioux Charley Lake we sat and enjoying the beautiful surrounding and company of each other. On the hike Dorla stepped on a rock the wrong way and hurt her foot. It was a long hike down to our cars, with Dorlas foot hurting and it was also uncomfortable for Jessyca to go down the trail. It was truly amazing to see the beauty of Montana and Amazing to watch my Daughter go on a six mile hike. Stay Tuned for the next hike in a series of Many.

Happy 4th of July. Well this is the first time that I have spent the 4th by myself. It is a little lonely, but all in all it is o.k. For the past week I have been working on Redoing my office. I am really excited about it. The ceiling I painted a burn orange and the walls are a olive green. I painted the trim and the doors cream. For my Birthday My 2 Youngest girls bought me a new desk. Overall I thing the office turned out great. What do you think? I also freshened up my spare room. So now it is ready for my girls to come and visit. I miss my family, I wish they lived closer to there mother. I am blessed I do have my youngest daughter living right across the street. Today we did some more things in Marleys room.

Today I went to Cody. I went to help Paul with a few things at his Trailer court. After we finished we went up to Buffalo Dam. It was beautiful. Went on a picnic and sat by the lake for a couple of hours and listen to the water. It was very peaceful. Then we went into Cody and went into several shops. I bought Marley a couple of very cute outfits. We had dinner at a Mexican Restaurant. Dinner and company was good. I love Sundays. Next week end I have a birthday party to go to. It is Kim's 50th birthday. Should be fun in is on the fourth. On Sunday it is my plan to go on a hike up to Mystic Lake.......

Today I decided to go for a walk in the park. It is so beautiful outside today..The weather is in the 70's and has been that way for several weeks, with lots of rain. On Saturday we spent a beautiful day at Riverfront park celebrating Marley's life. We had a big BBQ combination Baby shower. Fun was had by all who attended the shower. The weather was beautiful. Many people that we have not seen for years showed up to help celebrate. Jessyca received many gifts and is thankful for everything that was given too her. Happy Birthday to me. Today it was my 50th birthday. I received several gifts throughout the day.. The little girls across the street made me a cake and some Art and craft gift. The boy downstairs made me some brownies. I received flowers from HDA, my Mom and Dad, and Dan. Paul bought me a new camera, which I love. I received a martini glass from Kim, My daughters Meahgen and Jessyca and Dorla bought me some of my new office furniture. My daughter Melissa got me a sign for my wall that says Always kiss me goodnight. My daughter sent me 2 photo books of her kids. Thank you for all my gifts, I am truly thankful......

Today I celebrated my 50th Birthday with Family and Friends. We went to Texas Roadhouse for drinks and Dinner. It was real nice, I got to see friends that I have not seen for a while. My best friend in the whole wide world was there her name is Cheri and we have been friends for about 23 years. She holds a very special place in my heart. My friend Kim was their with her husband and daughter Hannah. Kim and I have been friends for about 31 years. We have been through a lot together. I just love her, she is a joy to be around.. My youngest daughter and her boyfriend were there, she is a shinning light in my life and is soon to bless me with a beautiful granddaughter. Two very close friends, that I spend a lot of time with were their to help celebrate my 50th birthday party. They are the ones who put the party together. A big Thank you to Paul and Dorla. They are very important to me and I love the both of them. Many other friends that I have through my employment were their to help with the celabration. Thank you for the company and the many gits that I received...I had a great time..... The only thing that would of made my day better was to see my daughter Amie her husband Brain, My Grandsons Aidan and Drew. My Daughter Melissa and her husband Chad. My daughter Meahgen. I can't wait to see my family all togeather in August. We will have a great time togeather.

What a way to spend a Sunday afternoon, in Red Lodge. I told my self that when the weather got nice I was not going to sit a home and do nothing. I was going to go on many adventures or small trips on the weekends. So this is the first of many places I plan on visiting this Summer. My daughter Jessyca and good friend Dorla took a drive to Red Lodge. The drive was beautiful. We went shopping, had lunch and then took a drive up beartooth pass. It was truly amazing. I got to spend a week playing with my Grandson Aidan. We went to chucky Cheese, We played at the park, we went to the play center at the mall. We went shopping and of Grandma spoiled him.. We played outside with chalk and bubbles.. We had a truly amazing time. Lets talk about amazing, my daughter gave birth to a beautiful little boy. His name is Drew. I got to spend a week cuddle the new little bundle of joy. He is so cute. He looks just like his brother. My daughter does an amazing job raising her boys!!!! I love you all!! Busy Monday!

Today was a typical Monday. It is the start of my work week at Rimrock Park Apartments. I spent the day working with Jessyca and Dorla. We installed plastic on the stairs in the 2150 Building. It is a bit tough to keep the plastic straight on the stairs. The end result was good. The stairs look nice and it looks cleaner. Tonight will be the first night of many walks that I will be taking so I can lose some more weight. My goal is to lose 10 more pounds. I have already lost 12 pounds. That is what happens when you get your tonsils removed.

Saturday I spent the day with Jessyca preparing Marleys room. Marley is my Granddaughter. She is due to be born on July 29, 2009. We painted and installed a chair rail around the room. We put her name on the wall and hung up some the clothing that we have bought for her and hung the curtain in the room. It will continue to be a work in progress. Today we will be putting in the room the crib and dresser. I will post a picture of the room when we have completed the room. More to come!!!!

Family Memories and spending time with Aidan over the Easter Weekend.... Jessyca and I traveled to Sioux Falls, SD to visit Brian, Amie and Aidan. We spent quality time together the whole weekend. It was a much needed for myself to see my grandson Aidan. He is getting to be such a big boy as you can tell in the pictures. He will be turning 3 years old tomorrow.
Of course I did my usually spoiling of love, attention and birthday presents. I purchased a train set for his upcoming birthday and on Saturday we spent the afternoon putting it together, it was a challenge but well worth it when Aidan was able to enjoy playing with his new train set.
I also couldn't help myself to spoil my other two soon to be grandchildren with clothes at the stores we went shopping at in Sioux Falls. It was a great weekend but very busy, we had a great time and look forward to the next visit..... which will be here soon when baby #2 arrives for the Hansens'.
My children (daughters and son in laws), grandchildren and granddogs mean the world to me and I look forward to sharing my favorite memories through this blog.... watch out for more pictures and post.

Little Moments of my family~

4 girls that I love unconditionally and always will have love that grows deeper as the years move on.... Amie and Brian are adding one more to the family in May 2009. They have a son Aidan that will be three in April...... Melissa, Chad and their precious dog Bella continue to be blessed everyday with their life and look forward to adding beautiful memories in the future..... Meahgen is living the life in paradise in Hawaii... will be finishing college and looking forward to see what her future holds.... Jessyca is blessed with a growing baby girl in her tummy that is joining the family in July.....

My life is centered around my family and look forward to sharing moments with them~
